There are 3 easy ways to fund your Wealthsimple account:
- One-time transfer from a chequing account: A one-time transfer of funds from your bank account to your Wealthsimple account. Once initiated, we will pull the requested amount for your bank account on file and will deposit it into the specified Wealthsimple account.
- Automatic recurring deposits: A certain amount of money is automatically withdrawn from your chequing account and contributed to your Wealthsimple account on a regular basis. The timeframe is up to you and we can help you set up weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly contributions.
- Transferring an existing investment account: First, make sure you have the specific account type (RRSP, TFSA, etc.) open with Wealthsimple. Then you can transfer an existing account from another institution to Wealthsimple.
You can find more information on how long these options take, here.
