Overview
Importing your INTERAC e-Transfer® contacts to your Cash account makes sending money easier and faster. Instead of adding each contact by hand, you can import your entire list at once. This helps you switch to using your Cash account for money transfers without hassle.
Note: We don't support contacts that only have a phone number associated with them. We can only import contacts with an email address.
Eligible banks
We support importing e-Transfer contacts from the following banks:
- TD Bank
- Scotiabank
- Simplii Financial
- Tangerine
- EQ Bank
- BMO
- CIBC
- RBC
How to import e-Transfer contacts
Follow these steps to import bill payees from another bank account:
- Log in to your Wealthsimple mobile app
- Tap a Cash account
- Tap Send
- Tap INTERAC e-Transfer®
- Choose Import contacts
- Tap the bank to import contacts from
- Review the sign in information
- Tap Next
- Sign in to your bank account
- Follow the prompts to import e-Transfer contacts
