The first step will be to dig up the Recovery Code you were asked to write down when you first set up the two-step verification!
When you go to log in to your Wealthsimple profile and you're asked for your verification code there should be an option underneath that mentions "I can't use my phone". By selecting this option you will be taken to a screen that will allow you to enter your Recovery Code and regain one-time access to your Wealthsimple profile.
Once you've used your Recovery Code once it will not be valid again, so make sure you use your one-time login to reset your two-step verification settings for your new device!
Didn't write down your Recovery Code or lost it as well? In order to help you access your account again you'll need to call in to our Client Success team so they can verify your identity. Due to the elevated security associated with two-step verification, we're unable to help you regain access to your account via email.
