When will the Cash cards and other features be available?
We’ve experienced some manufacturing delays beyond our control as a result of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. However, given the ongoing pandemic, there may still be factors outside of our control.
The pandemic has also impacted how we think about money, so we’ve been working hard the last few months to re-prioritize our roadmap to deliver valuable, digital-first features to you sooner.

| Pay bills | With Wealthsimple Cash you can pays bills fast and easily, anywhere, anytime. Set up your account to pay all your bills including, internet, hydro, your mobile phone, and more. |
| Digital card | Use Wealthsimple Cash to buy online or use with as a payment method for your favourite apps |
| Direct deposits | Share your Wealthsimple Cash account information with your employer to have a portion (or all) of your paycheque deposited directly into your Cash account. You will be able to access your direct deposit information from your Wealthsimple account once this feature becomes available. |
| Pre-authorized debit (PAD) | Automatically pay your recurring expenses such as utility, phone, or credit card bills and more directly from your Cash account. |
| Apple / Google Pay | Add your Cash card to your digital wallet to make purchases anywhere Apple and Google Pay is accepted. |
| No FX fees on purchases | Wealthsimple Cash makes it easy to spend around the world, without the foreign currency exchange fees. You'll only pay the currency conversion and the fee that VISA charges you, we don't add any FX fees on top of that. |
| Tungsten Cash card | Spending never looked so good with the tungsten metal Wealthsimple Cash Card. You can opt-in to this feature, or choose to have a virtual card only. To qualify for the physical card, you must meet certain use requirements of your Wealthsimple Cash account. Presently, we do not have any available information regarding these requirements. |
| ATM cash withdrawals | Withdraw from any ATM across Canada that has the VISA logo using the metal Wealthsimple Cash card. With Wealthsimple Cash, you’re eligible for a certain number of ATM reimbursements each month, but you can make as many as you’d like.You can also make ATM withdrawals internationally, but they will not be eligible for fee reimbursements. |

| Overdraft protection | We have no plans to offer overdraft protection. Your spending capacity with Wealthsimple Cash is limited to the amount of funds in your account. |
| Spending features and Cash cards for Cash for Business accounts | We have no plans to offer spending features (including the Wealthsimple Cash Card) for Cash for Business accounts. |
