Yes! Wealthsimple Invest and Wealthsimple Trade are entirely separate platforms with separate apps. You can learn more about the differences between the two platforms here. 

Because Wealthsimple Trade is separate from Invest, you will need to open a new account in your Trade app if you wish to perform trades within that account type. For example, Your Wealthsimple Trade TFSA and Wealthsimple Invest TFSA will each have a unique account number associated with it, and are therefore considered to be separate accounts.

Please note - we do not currently support the ability to transfer funds between the Wealthsimple Invest and Wealthsimple Trade platforms.
