Third party wires
We can only process wires from a third party entity for the following account types: Cash, RRSP, and RESP. If a wire from a third party is sent to any other account types, the wire will be returned and fees will apply.
You must provide some information about the third party entity through a Docusign form in your Wealthsimple account or the wire could be delayed or returned. Follow the instructions below to continue.
Complete and download the Docusign form
You must complete the Docusign form associated with the desired account type before the wire is sent:
Please include as much information as possible. For example, if the wire is a gift, please include the context of the gift (e.g. “birthday gift”).
If we don't receive a valid form, we will contact you for more details. If you don't respond with a valid form within 7 business days, we'll reject your wire transfer.
If you expect to receive recurring wires from your employer, please select Employment as the reason for deposit. You won’t have to complete a new form for these incoming wires.
If you expect to receive recurring wires for any other reason, you must complete a new third party Docusign form for each wire.
