In order to fund your Trade account, you must link a personal chequing or savings account. If you attempt to fund your account using an ineligible account (examples listed below), your deposit will be blocked and not allowed through!  

Examples of accounts that cannot be linked to your Trade profile: 

• US-dollar accounts 
• Corporate or business accounts 
• Investment Accounts (e.g. TFSAs, RRSPs)
• Line of Credit or Credit Card accounts
• Accounts you do not own (i.e. you cannot link a family member's bank account unless your name is also listed as an owner)
