When manually verifying your identity, you will be asked to submit 1-3 documents from the lists below. In order to upload your document, you can select I don't have these documents when going through the identity verification process. If you have trouble with this, please contact our support team and we can help you out further.
Before uploading a document to manually verify your identity, make sure that it is a document that can be accepted. We will require one document from each of the three categories. Below are the kinds of documents that we are able to accept, as well as the categories that they fit into —
Non-Canadian Photo ID

a clear picture of a Canadian Health/Services card

a clear picture of a USA driver’s license
Proof of name and date of birth or financial document

a clear picture of a Marriage certificate

a Credit Card statement (must be an unaltered PDF and include all pages)

a Bank statement (must be an unaltered PDF and include all pages)

a Loan account statement (must be an unaltered PDF and include all pages)

a Cleared cheque (must be an unaltered PDF and include all pages)
Proof of name and address

a Canadian Pension Plan (CPP) Statement (must be an unaltered PDF and include all pages)

a CRA Issued Record of Employment (must be an unaltered PDF and include all pages)

a CRA Issued Notice of Assessment (must be an unaltered PDF and include all pages)

an original & unaltered T4 slip (income tax slip) downloaded from an employer (must be PDF)

an original & unaltered PDF download of a utility bill (e.g. phone, internet, cable, water, gas, etc.)
