What is the Company Free Stock Bonus?

The Company Free Stock Bonus is a cash bonus that will be applied within 7 days after eligible clients open and fund a new Wealthsimple Trade account in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable promotion. You must have an applicable promo code and/or sign up through an applicable landing page to be eligible for the Company Free Stock Bonus. Limit 1 entry per eligible client.

There is no requirement that you purchase any security with the cash bonus. The identification of a particular security in communications related to this program shall not constitute a solicitation of the security or a recommendation to buy, sell or hold the security. Wealthsimple Trade does not provide investment advice and does not hereby recommend any security or transaction.

How do I claim my free stock?

In order to claim your prize, open and fund a Non-Registered Wealthsimple Trade Account (the “Promotion Account“) by clicking through from the relevant affiliate link containing the unique tracking code allowing Wealthsimple to identify you and follow the instructions on how to create an account. There are no fees associated with the creation of the Promotion Account. You must then fund this new account and trade with the minimum amount specified in the Company Free Stock Bonus promotion.

General Terms and Conditions

These general terms and conditions must be read in conjunction with all other details stated in the promotional materials. Funding amounts must be sourced from a non-Wealthsimple account. The Promotion Account cannot be funded by transferring funds directly or indirectly from another account at Wealthsimple.

This offer does not apply to clients opening Wealthsimple Invest, Save or Cash Accounts or clients on the Wealthsimple for Work platform. This offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer. Deposits that are split across more than one account will not be considered for eligibility when calculating whether you meet the net new asset threshold (for example, $50 in an RRSP Account and $50 in a Non-Registered Account will not combine to meet the $100 threshold). Clients will have 45 days following the opening of the account to meet the requirements of the promotion. Clients must keep any minimum required funds and the Company Free Stock Bonus in the account for 180 days from the initial funding of the account or the bonus may be deducted from their withdrawal amount or otherwise recovered by Wealthsimple. Withdrawals across any of the client’s Wealthsimple accounts during the 180 day period will be considered in calculating the foregoing.

Wealthsimple employees and their immediate family members living in the same household are not eligible.

Wealthsimple reserves the right to amend, withdraw or restrict this offer at any time without notice. Wealthsimple is the sole arbiter of these rules and any other issue arising under this offer. If Wealthsimple suspects fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system or a violation of these terms, Wealthsimple reserves the right to remove all promotions from your Wealthsimple account(s) and take any other action it deems appropriate including, but not limited to, closing your Wealthsimple account(s).
