Sync your PIN
After setting up your Wealthsimple Cash card PIN for your physical card, you'll also need to sync it.
To sync your PIN:
- Insert your card to make a purchase or withdraw money from an ATM.
- Enter your new PIN. If the card reader says that your PIN failed, enter it 3 more times. This is normal.
- Your new PIN will be synced.
Note: If you're not asked to use your PIN, don't worry - this is normal and your new PIN should still be synced.
Change your PIN
To change your PIN:
- Sign in to the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device
- Select your Cash account from the home screen
- Select the card icon in the top-right corner
- Swipe left to show your Physical card settings options
- Select Change PIN and follow the instructions to change your PIN
After changing your PIN, you'll need to activate it. To activate your new PIN:
- Insert your card to make a purchase or withdraw money from an ATM.
- Enter your new PIN. If the card reader says that your PIN failed, enter it 3 more times. This is normal.
- Your new PIN will be activated.
Unauthorized PIN change
If you received an email notifying you of a PIN change that you didn't initiate, please contact our support team and change your password immediately to protect your account.
