Activate your Wealthsimple Card

Before you can start paying for things, you'll need to activate your physical Wealthsimple Card and add funds to your account. The activation process only takes minutes to complete and is completely automated. You won't need to speak to anyone directly to get set up.

If you don't have a physical Wealthsimple Card yet, you can request one using the Cash app.

Tip: Your digital card gets activated as soon as you open a spending account. You can access your digital card in the Cash or Trade app, and add it to your phone's wallet.

Activate your physical Wealthsimple Card

To activate your Wealthsimple Card, follow these steps:

Call +1 877-868-0854 to activate your card and set your PIN.
Add funds to your account if you haven't already.
Sync your PIN by using your physical card in person.

Note: You need to sync your PIN within 365 days of getting your card. The best way to do this is by going to an ATM and performing a transaction — such as a balance check or withdrawal.
