Request a Cash card issued by Mastercard

As of October 2022, the Wealthsimple Cash card is affiliated with Mastercard.

Tip: If you already have a Wealthsimple Cash card issued by VISA, refer to our article for existing clients instead.

As a Wealthsimple Cash user, you can instantly use your virtual Wealthsimple Cash card by adding it to your phone wallet. You can also use your virtual card number to make purchases online.

To request a physical Cash card, follow the steps below:

Log in to your Wealthsimple mobile app
Tap the Home tab at the bottom of your screen
Select your Cash account
Tap the card icon at the top-right of your screen
Follow the prompts on-screen to request your physical Cash card

You can expect to receive your physical Cash card within 10-14 business days. Once you receive your physical Cash card in the mail, you will need to activate it by following these steps.

Tip: Make sure that your address is up-to-date before requesting your physical Wealthsimple Card to ensure that it gets sent to the right place.
