Can I claim the GST/HST New Housing Rebate on my return?

You cannot claim the GST/HST New Housing Rebate on your tax return.

If you purchased a house from a builder, you need to complete form GST 190 (and any provincial equivalents). If you have an owner-built home, you need to complete form GST 191 (and any provincial equivalents).
