Keep in mind that your password is case sensitive. Numbers, symbols, and uppercase letters are not required.
If you forgot your password, request your password hint by following this link and clicking on Forgot your password?. You’ll get an email with the password hint you set up when creating your account.
If you don’t get an email after a few minutes, please check your spam folder.
Why we can’t reset your password
We use your password to encrypt your tax data so that only the person with the password is able to decrypt it. Think of it as the key to your account. And since you’re the only one with the key, only you can get in.
We don’t have a way to unlock or reset your password as that would require a back door (or master key) to access all the accounts. From a security perspective, this is a lot less safe.
