With Wealthsimple Tax’s premium Expert Advice plan, you can get all the benefits of our Priority Support plan plus a 30-minute advice session with one of our tax experts. This advice session will take place over Zoom, and will allow you to go over any questions or concerns you may have about your return. This will help you make sure your return is in good shape before you hit submit.
How does it work?
To sign up for Expert Advice, follow the steps below:
- Log into your Wealthsimple account at my.wealthsimple.com
- Select Tax from the product options
- On the left-hand side of your screen, click Upgrade
- Choose Get expert advice from the upgrade options
- Follow the prompts to pay and schedule your advice session
- Log in to your Tax mobile app
- Select Your Return at the bottom of the screen
- Scroll down to Review and optimize
- Tap Get expert support
- Choose Get expert advice from the upgrade options
- Follow the prompts to pay and schedule your advice session
After signing up for Expert Advice, you will need to add a payment method to complete your purchase. Once your payment is complete, book your call on a date and time that works best for you through our online booking portal.
After booking your meeting, you will receive an email confirmation with details on your meeting. You will also receive a follow-up email closer to your selected date and time on how to join the meeting.

- You will be prompted to pay before scheduling your session.
- Your session with a tax expert will last 30 minutes. If you are not able to go over all your questions in 30 minutes, your tax expert may follow up with you over email.
- If you need to reschedule your appointment, you will be able to do so through a link provided to your email.
- If you need to cancel your session, you can do so in advance by sending an email to the tax expert that your meeting is set up with. Their email will be provided in your confirmation email after booking your session.
