Withdrawals can take between seven and ten working days from the time they are requested to the time the money arrives back in to your bank account. We always try to send your funds out in five business days but it can take some extra time, if you have ongoing trading activity on your account.
Please allow an additional day if there is a Bank holiday during this period as this adds an extra day to the selling process.
You can always check the scheduled date and status of your withdrawal on the Withdrawals Page. If your withdrawal has disappeared from the withdrawals page, check your activities page to see if the funds have been sent out.
I set up a withdrawal and received a warning that my withdrawal may take longer than usual or recent deposits will not be sent out.
Deposits into Wealthsimple cannot be withdrawn until a five business day period has passed. During this time your bank may reject the deposit and pull the funds back from your Wealthsimple account and so those funds cannot be sent out just yet.
