I'm trying to link my bank account to Wealthsimple but my bank isn't listed. What do I do?

The dropdown list on the Add a Bank Page contains institutions that support instant verification using your online banking login. If your bank isn't listed or if you'd prefer to verify your bank without using your online banking login, you can link your bank manually by choosing the "My bank is not listed above" option on the Add Bank Page.


You'll need your routing number and account number. Both can be found on one of your checks (as shown in the image above), on your online banking session, or by asking a representative at your bank.

We'll use the account information you provide us with to send you two small micro-deposits. These values will be between 0.01 and 0.99. You should expect to see them in your bank account within 2-3 days after submitting your bank details. To finish opening your account, please check to see that you have received the deposits and input both new amounts on your Wealthsimple homepage. We'll take it from there!
