Overview
You can view your year-to-date contributions across your Wealthsimple Retirement Savings Accounts (RRSP) in any RRSP. We track contributions for you so you can easily monitor them.
We only track contributions made in your Wealthsimple RRSPs. You'll need to manually calculate your total contributions if you have RRSPs outside of Wealthsimple.
Note: We don't track your contribution room. We recommend checking your Canada Revenue Agency My Account for this information.
How to view your RRSP contributions
Follow these steps to view your RRSP contributions:
- Log in to the Wealthsimple app
- Select any RRSP
- Scroll down to RRSP contributions at Wealthsimple
- View your year-to-date contributions
- Log in to your Wealthsimple profile
- Select any RRSP
- Navigate to RRSP contributions at Wealthsimple
- View your year-to-date contributions
Tip: You can request a contribution confirmation statement to generate a downloadable PDF.
Confirm if your deposit met the RRSP contribution deadline
You'll need to contribute to your RRSP before the year's deadline for your contribution to count for that year and not the next. To confirm your deposit met the deadline, follow the steps below:
Note: If you initiated your deposit before the deadline, it will count toward your 2025 taxes.
- Log in to your Wealthsimple profile
- Select Activity from the main menu
- You'll see a full list of activities
- Tap Accounts and select your RRSP account(s)
- Tap a deposit
- Review the status of the deposit
- Verify if the contribution period is March 4, 2025 - March 2, 2026
Note: If the transaction is still in progress, check back when it's complete to confirm.
