Most transfers generate a signature for you when you submit your transfer. However, we may need you to sign the transfer form using Docusign in some cases.
Note: Joint, Spousal RRSPs, Corporate and Spousal RRIFs aren’t eligible for digital signatures via DocuSign.
If you haven’t signed your transfer form yet, follow these steps:
- Open your Wealthsimple mobile app
- Under Accounts, tap the account you set up a transfer for
- Tap the account transfer at the top of the account details page
Note: If you see the status 'Signature required to process transfer', it means you haven’t submitted your signature yet. - Tap Open email at the bottom of your screen
- Tap Review Document (the form will open in a new browser window)
- Follow the prompts to digitally sign your transfer request form
- Your transfer status will update to In-progress within 24 hours
It’s normal for the transfer status to say Action required in the meantime while the status is updating.
