Overview
You can view your tax documents when they become available. Different documents may be available on different dates. Check out the important dates and deadlines to learn when your tax document will be available.
Find your tax documents
Follow these steps to view your tax documents:
- Sign in to the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner.
- Tap the Settings (gear) icon in the top right corner.
- Select the Accounts menu item.
- Choose an account.
- Scroll down to the bottom of the account page.
- Under Documents, tap Tax documents.
- Review the available tax documents for the selected account.
- Sign in to your Wealthsimple account.
- Select your Profile icon in the top right corner.
- Choose Settings from the drop-down menu.
- Select Accounts from the options.
- Select an account.
- Select Tax documents from the menu.
- Review the available tax documents.
If the personal details listed on your tax slip are incorrect or outdated (for example you moved to a new address or changed your last name) this is okay - as long as your SIN matches the CRA will still consider the other details on the tax slip to be accurate.

Why can't I find my tax document?
There are a few reasons why you may not have a tax document associated with one of your accounts. Reasons include:
The tax document isn’t available yet
Please review the important dates and deadlines to learn when your tax document will be available.
The account didn't have any taxable or reportable activity in the tax year
You won’t receive a tax document for an account that had no taxable or reportable activities in the tax year. Learn more about what accounts you can expect tax slips from.
You have many accounts of the same type
You'll receive a tax document for each individual account you have with Wealthsimple, if applicable. Check for many tax documents if you have more than one account of the same type open.
Accessing tax slips after you've closed your profile
If you have previously signed account agreements within your profile before it was closed, you will still be able to log in and access any relevant tax documents by following the instructions highlighted above.
