Fees
Our management fee varies by client tier, as follows:
- Core: 0.5%
- Premium: 0.4%
- Generation: Starting at 0.4%, as low as 0.2%
Managed portfolios also incur a management expense ratio (MER) fee and currency conversion fees, which you can learn more about in the Managed Investing Fee Schedule.

MER fees are charged by fund providers (Vanguard, BMO, etc.) for the work they do to maintain the asset balance within the ETFs in your portfolio. The fee isn't charged by Wealthsimple but is incorporated into the price of each ETF itself. |
| Socially Responsible Investing (SRI) | 0.21% - 0.23% | Our SRI portfolio includes (along with government bonds and gold) two Wealthsimple ETFs (WSRI and WSRD) for which Wealthsimple receives a portion of the MER fee directly from your investment. |
| Halal | 0.25% - 0.5% | Our Halal portfolio includes a Wealthsimple Shariah-compliant ETF for which Wealthsimple receives a portion of the MER fee directly from your investment. |
