If you received support payments:
- Add the Support Payments section to your profile
- Answer "Yes" to "Did you receive any support payments?"
- Enter the total of all support payments received (both taxable and non-taxable)
- Report the taxable amount of support, you can refer to the CRA's website for insight
If you repaid support:
- Add the Support Payments section to your profile
- Answer "Yes" to "Were you required to repay any support payments under a court order?"
- Enter the amount you repaid and the deduction you're allowed to claim
If you made support payments:
- Add the Support Payments section to your profile
- Answer "Yes" to "Did you make any support payments?"
- Enter the total of all support payments you made
- Report the deductible support payments you made, you can refer to the CRA's website for insight
If you were repaid support:
- Add the Support Payments section to your profile
- Answer "Yes" to "Were any support payments repaid to you pursuant to a court order?"
- Enter the total of all support payments repaid to you (taxable & non-taxable)
- Enter the taxable amount of support payments repaid to you
