You’ll get ERR.082 if you recently signed up for CRA My Account but don’t yet have full access. You’ll need to wait to receive your access code from the CRA before you can use Auto-fill.
You should not register as a representative through Represent a Client.
Some individuals who have full access to CRA My Account still see ERR.082. This issue is related to the way the CRA stores cookies on your computer. We suggest you:
log out of CRA My Account if it is open in a different tab,
try using a different browser, or,
clear your CRA cookies.
If you can’t get by the error, you’ll need to either enter your information manually, or try Auto-fill again in a few days.
