Where to find your NETFILE access code

CRA My Account:
- Log in to your account
- Click "Tax returns" in the left-hand menu
- Select your most recent Notice of Assessment
- Find the code on the right, below your address, SIN, and date
- Notice of Assessment (paper or electronic):
- Look in the top right corner of the first page
- Find the code below the date
If you don't enter the code
You'll need to provide information from an earlier tax return to confirm your identity when communicating with the CRA.
To enter your NETFILE access code in Wealthsimple Tax:
- Go to the Personal information section of your Tax profile
- Look for the NETFILE access code section and field at the top of the section
- Enter your 8-digit code
