If you’ve successfully submitted your return to the CRA via NETFILE, you’ll see a confirmation number in the Submit section. 

Both the confirmation number and message come from the CRA, indicating that they’ve successfully received your return. Please note that the confirmation message is only displayed once, immediately after you submit your return.
