What is Clearpool?
Clearpool is a decentralized credit marketplace that enables institutional borrowers to access unsecured liquidity directly from decentralized finance (DeFi) lenders. The protocol connects lenders with vetted borrowers through single-borrower liquidity pools, allowing institutions to access capital without over-collateralization. Unlike traditional DeFi lending platforms that require borrowers to over-collateralize loans, Clearpool introduces an undercollateralized model where credit risk is assessed off-chain and reflected in dynamically priced interest rates.
What is CPOOL?
The native token of the protocol, CPOOL, operates on the Ethereum network. CPOOL serves as the governance and utility token of the Clearpool ecosystem, enabling holders to participate in governance, stake tokens to support protocol operations, and earn rewards through ecosystem participation. The token has a total supply of 1 billion units, with approximately 975.37 million CPOOL in circulation at the time of this publication.
