View the status of a pending withdrawal
If you've recently made a withdrawal, you can check its status directly through your profile in the Wealthsimple mobile app.
Note: Statuses aren't available for debit card withdrawals.
To view the status of a pending withdrawal:
- Sign into the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Activity tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Filters icon in the top right, then select Type.
- Uncheck All, then scroll down and check Withdrawals.
- Tap Done to view your withdrawal history.
- Select a withdrawal to view its Status and details.
Cancel a pending withdrawal
You can view or cancel a pending withdrawal by following the steps below.
- Log in to your Wealthsimple account.
- Select Activity from the top menu.
- Under Filters on the right, click Type.
- From the menu uncheck All, then select Withdrawals.
- Choose a withdrawal to view the details.
- Tap Cancel this withdrawal and then Yes to confirm cancel.
- Sign into the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device.
- Tap the Activity tab at the bottom of the screen.
- Tap the Filters icon in the top right, then select Type.
- Uncheck All, then scroll down and check Withdrawals.
- Select the withdrawal that you wish to cancel, and at the bottom of the screen, choose Cancel Withdrawal.
- Confirm this by selecting Yes on the confirmation popup, and you will receive confirmation that your withdrawal has been cancelled.
I don't see an option to cancel my withdrawal, what do I do?
If you don't see the option to cancel your withdrawal, then it is no longer cancellable as the withdrawal is already being processed. In the event of an emergency, please reach out to our support team to see if there is anything we can do.
