Overview
If your Wealthsimple Visa card is lost or stolen, you can lock your card and request a free replacement. You can continue to use your Wealthsimple profile while you wait for your replacement card.
This applies to the following Wealthsimple cards:
- Visa Infinite* credit card
- Visa Infinite+* credit card
- Visa Infinite Privilege* credit card
- Prepaid business Visa card
Request a replacement card
Once you request a replacement card, we will cancel your old card and send you a new one. Your new physical card will arrive within 20 business days. Your new virtual card is available instantly in the Wealthsimple mobile app as soon as we reissue it.
Replace a prepaid business Visa card
To request a replacement prepaid business Visa card, please contact our support team.
Replace a credit card
To request a replacement credit card:
- Call our support team.
- Request a replacement credit card.
- Provide any additional information required, such as the reason for the replacement.
Lock your card
If you misplace your card, you can lock it to prevent unauthorized transactions. For instructions on how to lock or unlock your card, visit Lock or unlock your Wealthsimple Visa card.
