Overview
As a Wealthsimple Visa Infinite Privilege* cardholder, you are eligible to enroll in the Visa Airport Companion Program, which is managed by Dragonpass International Ltd. Once you enroll, you can use your membership to access over 1,200 participating airport lounges around the world.
When enrolling in the Visa Airport Companion Program with a Wealthsimple Visa Infinite Privilege card, cardholders are entitled to 6 visits every 12 months.
How to enroll
To enroll in the Visa Airport Companion Program, follow these steps:
- Download the Visa Airport Companion app from the App Store or Google Play Store.
- Open the app and select Canada as your region, then tap Sign Up.
- When asked if you have an existing membership, select No, I want to create a membership.
- Next, tap Sign up with Visa Card.

Enter your Wealthsimple credit card details to verify your eligibility for the program.
Note: The app may perform a $0 authorization check on your card. - Once your card is verified, you'll be asked to enter your personal details to set up your profile and agree to the program's Terms and Conditions.
- Confirm your mobile number and email address. This information will be used for password resets and security.
- Create a password for your account.
- After you've created a password, you'll be able to see your new Visa Airport Companion membership card and will get a welcome email.
- Navigate to the Visa Airport Companion website
- Select Sign up in the top right corner
- Enter your Visa card details through the secure form to verify your eligibility
- Your Visa Infinite Privilege card will be saved as the primary method of payment for any future Visa Airport Companion purchases
- Enter your personal details to set up your membership profile
- Create a password and provide your consent to the Terms and Conditions
- Once successfully enrolled, you'll see your Visa Airport Companion membership card, and you'll receive a welcome email.
How to access lounges
To access your passes and lounges, use the Visa Airport Companion app. Don't use the DragonPass app.
Once you have a membership, you can access lounges in one of three ways:
- Present the digital membership card and QR code in the Visa Airport Companion app.
- Show the digital membership card and QR code from the welcome email you received.
- In some lounges, you may be able to present the credit card you used to enroll.

If I already have a DragonPass Membership, can I still enroll in the Visa Airport Companion Program?
Yes, you will receive a separate membership card, and you can continue using both memberships.
Can I use my passes for guests?
Yes, purchased passes can be used for guests, with the following conditions:
- Membership holder must be present: You can't give your passes to others to use without you being there.
- One pass per person: Each guest (including you) requires one pass. Children under 2 years old enter free.
- No guest limit: You can bring as many guests as you have available passes (for example, with 4 passes, you could bring 3 guests plus yourself).
How do my lounge passes renew?
Your lounge passes renew each year automatically on your enrollment anniversary. As long as your Wealthsimple credit card stays active, you'll receive 6 complimentary lounge visits. If you cancel your credit card, you'll also cancel your Visa Airport Companion membership and lose access to any unused passes.
