Overview
You can add funds to your USD self-directed trading account by either
- linking a USD account and directly depositing USD into your account or
- by converting your Canadian Dollar cash balance into USD
When you convert funds from CAD to USD (and vice versa), there's a foreign exchange (FX) conversion fee on top of the Wealthsimple Investments Inc. corporate exchange rate. You can convert an unlimited amount of funds between CAD and USD.
