- Next earnings date: The day the company is expected to report its results
- Reporting time: Whether the company is expected to report before the market opens or after it closes
- Quarter ending: The last day of the fiscal quarter the results cover
- Last reported: The date the company last reported earnings
Frequently asked questions
Why do I see an estimated earnings date?
An earnings date is estimated when the company hasn't officially confirmed it yet. In that case, the date is based on the company's past reporting pattern. All future earnings dates are estimates until the company confirms them, and they can shift.
Why is an earnings date wrong or different from what I expected?
Earnings dates can change, and estimated dates update as new information becomes available. We source this data from a third-party provider, so we can't correct a date manually. It refreshes on its own as the provider updates it.
Why do I mostly see large companies in the upcoming earnings list?
The list shows large-cap companies by default to keep it relevant. You can choose to see different types of companies reporting by tapping the Filters icon at the top-right of the Earnings page in the Wealthsimple app.
