Overview

Uploading a document to your profile is used for identity verification and account management, such as submitting a government-issued ID. If you're transferring an account to Wealthsimple and need to upload a statement, that happens directly within the transfer steps and is separate from this process.

How to upload a document

To upload documents to your profile:

1. Log in to your Wealthsimple profile
2. Select the Profile menu in the bottom left corner
3. Select Documents from the menu
4. In the top right corner, click the upload documents button
5. Drag and drop or upload your document right from your computer
6. Click on the Upload button
