You can view or cancel a pending order in your self-directed trading account by following the instructions below.
- Sign into the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device
- Tap the Profile icon at the bottom of the screen
- Select the Activity menu item
- Check for any pending orders under Pending
- Select an order to view the details or cancel it
- If available, you'll see the option to cancel the order at the bottom of the order page
- Log into my.wealthsimple.com and sign in to your Stocks, ETFs & Crypto profile
- Select the Activity from the top menu bar
- Check for any pending orders under Pending
- Select an order to view the details or cancel it
- If available, you'll see the option to cancel the order at the bottom of the order page
- Tap Cancel this order and then Yes to confirm cancel
The details
- For fractional orders, you have up until one hour before market close to cancel your order.

U.S. stock exchanges (NYSE and Nasdaq) don’t accept order cancellations within 5 minutes before the market opens. If you request a cancellation during this window, the cancellation may not be accepted and your order may fill instantly upon market open.
- Orders may appear as Partially filled if only a portion of the order has been bought or sold on the market. You can only cancel the unfilled portion of a partially filled order.
