Your maximum idle time setting determines how long your web session can be inactive before you're automatically logged out. This is a security feature designed to protect your account if you step away from your device. However, you can often adjust this setting to better suit your needs.
Follow these steps to adjust your maximum idle time:
- Log in to your Wealthsimple account
- Select the profile icon in the top right corner
- Choose Settings from the menu
- Navigate to General Preferences
- Select Max idle time
- Set your max idle time (15 minutes, 1 hour, or 8 hours)
- Select Save to keep your changes
