Wealthsimple Tax automatically saves your work as you go, but there are a few things to keep in mind:
Automatic saving:
- If you're signed in to your Wealthsimple account and connected to the internet, your return is continuously saved
Saving your return:
- Look at the top menu bar. You'll see one of three states:
- Save: Your return is up to date, but you can click to force a save
- Saving...: Changes are currently being saved
- Saved: All changes have been successfully saved
- To manually save your return at any time, click Save in the top menu bar
Important: Ensure you're connected to the internet for automatic saving to work
Troubleshooting:
If you're having issues with saving, try these steps:
- Check your internet connection
- Sign out and sign back in to your Wealthsimple account
- Clear your browser cache and cookies
Remember:
- It's a good practice to ensure your return is saved after making significant changes
- You can access your saved return from any device by signing in to your Wealthsimple account
