You can now view a graph of your chequing account balance over time from your account overview page on web. Choose a time range between 1 and 6 months, and hover over any point on the graph to see your money in and money out for that period.
View your balance over time
- Log in to your Wealthsimple profile on a computer or laptop
- Select your chequing account
- At the top of the page, you'll see your balance graph
- Select a time range between 1 and 6 months
- Hover over any point on the graph to see your money in and money out for that period
Frequently asked questions
Can I view this balance graph in the Wealthsimple app?
No. This graph is currently available on Wealthsimple web only.
Why does my chequing account page look different now?
We've updated the web chequing account overview page to lead with a graph of your balance over time, replacing the previous interest-focused view. You can also see your money in and out by hovering over the graph.
Is this available for my USD chequing account?
No. The balance graph is currently available for personal, joint, business, and youth chequing accounts. It's not yet available for USD chequing accounts.
How is this different from the running balance shown in my activity feed?
The balance graph shows your balance over a longer time range, from 1 to 6 months. Running balance shows what your balance was immediately after a specific transaction, in your activity feed. See View your account activity and running balance to learn more about running balance.
