Overview
You can link your Wealthsimple Business chequing account to various accounting software to automatically sync your transactions and simplify your bookkeeping. Wealthsimple uses Plaid to securely connect your Business chequing account to third-party accounting platforms. This connection allows your transaction data to flow directly into your accounting software, saving you the time of manual entry.
Eligibility
- You must have an active Wealthsimple Business chequing account.
- You must use an accounting platform that supports Plaid integrations.
Link your account
To streamline your bookkeeping with software like Quickbooks, you can connect your account directly through your accounting software’s dashboard.
- Log in to your accounting software account.
- Select the option to Link account (sometimes labeled as Connect Bank).
- Search for Wealthsimple in the list of financial institutions.
- Enter your Wealthsimple login credentials when prompted.
- Once logged in, you’ll see a list of available accounts. Select your Business chequing account. This account may appear labeled as Corporate chequing.
- Follow the remaining on-screen prompts to finish the sync.

If Plaid doesn’t support your accounting software, or if you prefer not to link your accounts directly, you can manually upload your data in a CSV:
- Log in to your Wealthsimple profile.
- Select the Profile menu in the bottom left corner.
- Select Documents from the menu.
- Under Filters, open the Account menu.
- Select your Business chequing account.
- Open the Document type menu.
- Select Performance statements.
- Your available monthly statements will populate.
- Select Download CSV.
- Log in to your accounting software and use their Import or Upload feature to add the CSV file.
Note: You can only download your monthly statement in a CSV file through the web. They’re not available from the app.
