Overview

You can transfer shares to your Wealthsimple account from another institution. In most cases, you should set up the transfer with Wealthsimple. This allows us to communicate with the other institution and have visibility into the transferred assets.

In some cases, you might have to provide the relinquishing institution with information to set up the transfer on their end.

Note: We can only accept share transfers of eligible assets from Canadian institutions. We're unable to accept transfers of assets from institutions outside of Canada.
