View or cancel a pending limit order
You can view or cancel a pending limit order in your self-directed investing account by following these instructions:
- Sign into the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device
- Tap the Activity tab at the bottom of your screen
- Select the Pending tab from the top of your screen
- Select a pending limit order to view the order details
Note: Tap Order history to view pending changes made outside of market hours - If you want to cancel the order, tap Cancel order
Modify a pending limit order (Equities)
Note: This feature is currently in testing and is only available to some clients.
You can modify a pending limit order for equities during market hours and outside of market hours.
Limit orders modified outside of market hours are queued to execute when the market opens. The cost will reflect the original order cost until we get confirmation from the broker. Your limit order will lose its place in the order queue if you modify it.
To modify a pending limit order, follow these instructions:
- Sign into the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device
- Tap the Activity tab at the bottom of your screen
- Select the Pending tab from the top of your screen
- Select a pending limit order to view the order details
- Select Modify order to modify the order
- Update the limit order as you’d like, then tap Review
- Review your changes and select Submit order or Queue order when you’re done
Note: Your original order may be executed before replacement of the modified order.
