Overview
We've made it easier to track and understand the dividends you earn on your investments. When you look at the detail page for any dividend-paying stock or ETF, you'll now see a dedicated Dividends section that clearly shows:
- Payment details like the ex-dividend date and expected payment date.
- The frequency of payments.
- The security's 12-month yield, which tells you the average dividend yield over the past year.
This helps you understand when you'll receive your money and gives you the key information you need to make informed investing decisions.

In this section, you'll see key information:
- Frequency: How often the dividend is typically paid, such as monthly or quarterly.
- 12-month yield: The average dividend yield over the past 12 months (also known as the 12-month trailing yield).
- Ex-dividend date: The date on which you must own the shares to qualify for the next payment. If a date hasn't been set by the company, you'll see Announcement pending.
- Expected payment date: The approximate date you can expect the dividend to arrive in your account.
Note: The actual payment date is based on when our depository pays us, so the payment may not arrive exactly on the expected payment date.
