Overview

Keyboard shortcuts allow you to quickly navigate the Wealthsimple web experience and place trades without needing to use your mouse. Using these shortcuts can save you time when you're managing your investments.

How to use keyboard shortcuts

You can access the full list of available shortcuts at any time by pressing the ? key on your keyboard or following these steps:

Log in to your Wealthsimple profile
Click on the Profile icon in the top right corner
Select Shortcuts

Below is a list of the current shortcuts you can use on web:

Navigation shortcuts

Use these shortcuts to quickly jump between the main sections of your Wealthsimple account:

To go to the Home section, press H.
To go to Move, press M.
To go to Activity, press A.
To go to Holdings, press D.
To go to Household, press N.
To go to Stocks/Options, press O.

General action shortcuts

Use these shortcuts to perform common actions within Wealthsimple:

To open the Search function, press the / key.
To go Back to the previous screen, press Escape.
To Open shortcuts (the list you're reading now), press ?.

Order action shortcuts

Use these shortcuts when you're in the trading interface:

To select the Next order type, press T.
To select the Previous order type, press Shift + T.
To select a Buy order, press B.
To select a Sell order, press S.
To Review or submit order, press ⌘ + Return (on Mac).
To Increase quantity, press the → (Right Arrow) key.
To Decrease quantity, press the ← (Left Arrow) key.
To increase the Limit price up, press the ↑ (Up Arrow) key.
To decrease the Limit price down, press the ↓ (Down Arrow) key.
To Switch account, press Shift + A.
To Use bid price, press ⌘ + A (on Mac).
To Use ask price, press ⌘ + S (on Mac).
To Toggle pending orders, press Shift + P.

Security chart shortcuts

These shortcuts apply when you're viewing a security's chart:

To open the Advanced chart, press C.
To Increase chart duration, press ⌘ + → (Right Arrow) (on Mac).
To Decrease chart duration, press ⌘ + ← (Left Arrow) (on Mac).
