Overview
You can generate custom statements on web, including balance confirmations, contribution confirmations, holdings reports, and activity statements. Here's what each one shows:
- Balance confirmation statements show end-of-day balances for your accounts on a specific date. They only show accounts that are currently open.
- Average balance confirmations show the average balances for your accounts over a specific time period. They also show accounts you've closed, along with the date each account was closed.
- Contribution confirmation statements show contributions to your registered accounts for a specific tax year, any withdrawals you made that year, and government-approved grants, if applicable.
- Holdings reports are CSV files that show your holdings as of the date you choose. This report is available for accounts that support holdings, like Wealthsimple Trade, managed portfolios, and Crypto accounts.
- Realized gain/loss reports show the gains and losses you've realized over a period in a CSV file, broken down per security. This report is available for Wealthsimple Trade and managed accounts.
- Custom activity statements show your transaction history, including trades, deposits, and withdrawals, in a CSV or PDF file. This statement is available for all Wealthsimple Trade, managed, chequing, and Crypto accounts. The CSV version also includes credit card accounts.
If you need to confirm when an account was closed, request an average balance confirmation. It's the only statement in the list above that shows closed accounts and their closure dates.
If you uploaded an account statement during a transfer request and your details couldn't be read automatically, you can find your statement using the options below and enter your details manually. If you need a statement type that isn't available online, contact our support team.
