Overview
Watchlist is a tool that allows you to track a particular asset without purchasing it. When you add a stock to your watchlist, you're able to see that stock on your homepage, and quickly access the stock's information page.
On a stock's information page, you'll find:
- The security's performance over different periods of time
- The security's statistics
- News about the security
- Categories that the security falls into
Find your Watchlist
- Log in to your Wealthsimple profile
- On the Home page, scroll to the bottom
- Find the watchlist on the right-hand side
- Log in to the Wealthsimple app
- Tap the Discover tab (magnifying glass) at the bottom of the screen
- View your watchlist
Add a stock, ETF or cryptocurrency to your Watchlist
- Log in to your Wealthsimple profile
- In the Search name or symbol field at the top of the page, type in the name or the symbol of the security you'd like to follow
- Select the security you'd like to add to your Watchlist
- Click the star widget to add the symbol or security to your Watchlist
- Log in to the Wealthsimple app
- Tap the Discover tab (magnifying glass) at the bottom of the screen
- Type in the name or the symbol of the security you'd like to follow
- Tap the star widget in the top-right corner to add it to your Watchlist
