You can easily and securely manage your Wealthsimple Prepaid Mastercard PIN in the Wealthsimple app. This guide walks you through changing your existing PIN and securing your PIN. Follow these steps to ensure your PIN works correctly at payment terminals and ATMs and to protect against unauthorized activity.
Changing your PIN
To change your PIN:
- Sign in to the Wealthsimple app on your mobile device
- Select your spendable Chequing account from the home screen
- Select the card icon in the top-right corner
- Swipe left to show your Physical card settings options
- Select Change PIN and follow the instructions to change your PIN
After changing your PIN, you'll need to activate it. To activate your new PIN:
- Insert your card to make a purchase or withdraw money from an ATM.
- Enter your new PIN. If the card reader says that your PIN failed, enter it 3 more times. This is normal.
- Your new PIN will be activated.
If you're notified of an authorized PIN change
If you received an email notifying you of a PIN change that you didn't initiate, please contact our support team and change your password immediately to protect your account.
