Manage your holdings with the pop-out experience on the web

Overview

Use the pop-out holdings window on the web to view detailed holdings information and buy or sell securities from the same screen. When you log in on a computer, you can open your holdings in a separate window that lets you see more detail and trade without leaving the page.

How to use the pop-out holdings experience

Follow these steps to open and use the pop-out holdings window on the web:

1. Log in to your Wealthsimple profile
2. Select Holdings overview from your Home screen
3. Your holdings open in a separate pop-out window
4. To buy or sell a security, hover over that security's row to show the Buy and Sell buttons
5. Select Buy or Sell to place a trade directly from the pop-out window

Customize what you see

You can also change what appears in the pop-out window. You can replace, add, and reorder the columns in your holdings table so the details that matter most to you show first. For step-by-step instructions, see View and customize your account holdings.

Frequently asked questions

Why am I not seeing my entire holdings list on the Home tab?

The holdings list on the Home tab shows your top ten holdings by return. To see your full list, open the pop-out holdings window from Holdings overview.

Can I use the pop-out holdings experience on the Wealthsimple app?

Not yet. The pop-out holdings experience is currently available on the web only.

Can I customize the columns in the pop-out window?

Yes. You can replace, add, and reorder your columns on the web. For the full steps, see View and customize your account holdings.
