If you need to report your date of entry to Canada:

Navigate to the Personal information section in your profile

Go to the About Your Residency subsection

Answer the question "Were you a Canadian resident for all of [year]?"
- If you became a resident during the current tax year, answer "No"
- If you were a resident for the entire year, answer "Yes"

If you answered "No", you'll see the question "Did you become a resident of Canada (immigrate) for income tax purposes in [year]?"
- If you became a resident in the current tax year, answer "Yes"
- If you became a resident in a previous year, answer "No"

If you answered "Yes" to becoming a resident in the current year, enter your date of entry in the field that appears
If you became a resident of Canada in a previous year:
- You won't be able to enter a date of entry for this tax return
Important notes:
- If you became a resident in a previous year but haven't filed a tax return for that year, you may need to file a return for that prior year
- Wealthsimple Tax can only be used for tax years 2020 and later
