Overview
You can use the merchant rewards redemption storefront to spend the cash back earned on your credit card on exclusive and discounted items. This allows you to get more value from your rewards through a variety of products and experiences.
How to redeem rewards
Follow these steps to browse and redeem items using your earned cash back:
- Log in to the Wealthsimple app.
- Tap the Visa card icon or tab.
- Tap Cashback.
- Scroll down to the Shop with your cash back section.
- Select an item to view more details.
- Scroll down and tap Continue for $XXX.XX.
- Review your order details on the next page.
- Tap Place your order.
Once your order is placed, you'll see an order confirmation screen and receive a confirmation email from Wealthsimple.
Shipping and delivery
Shipping methods and timelines depend on the item you select. All items must be shipped to a physical Canadian mailing address and cannot be delivered to a P.O. box.

Gifting an item
You can ship Apple products and Monos luggage to someone else as a gift. During checkout, simply enter the recipient's name and shipping address in the delivery fields.
Missing a delivery
If you know you'll be away, you can provide an alternative delivery address at checkout or wait to select your reward until you're available to receive it.
Returns and exchanges
All reward redemptions are final sale. Once an item has shipped, it's non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and non-refundable. Rewards have no surrender value and cannot be exchanged for cash.
Frequently asked questions
What should I do if my item arrives damaged?
If your item is damaged on arrival, the process depends on the product:
- Wallets & Keychains: Contact our support team and provide photos of the damage.
- Apple Products: Report the damage to Apple within 14 days of delivery. If they can't resolve it, ask for a Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) case number and share it with Wealthsimple support.
- Monos Luggage: Email hello@monos.com with photos of the damage and your sales order number.
Is there a warranty on my reward?
Yes, most physical products come with a manufacturer's warranty:
- Apple Products: Includes a one-year manufacturer warranty.
- Monos Luggage: Covered by a limited lifetime warranty. You can submit claims directly on the Monos website.
What if the item or colour I want is out of stock?
Inventory for certain items like Apple devices or Monos luggage is subject to availability. If your preferred model or colour is unavailable, you'll be prompted to choose from the remaining in-stock options.
