Overview

Get a free bubble tea from Tiger Sugar or a free banh mi from Banh Mi Boys when you scan a Wealthsimple QR code in store and sign up. The offer is for Ontario residents aged 13 and up who don’t have a Wealthsimple account yet. You don’t need to open an account to get your reward.

Who’s eligible

You need to be at least 13, live in Ontario, not have a Wealthsimple account, be eligible to open a Wealthsimple Kids & Teens account, and have your parent’s or guardian’s permission. 

How it works

Scan the Wealthsimple QR code at a participating location, fill out the short registration form, then show the confirmation screen on your own phone to staff. 

Your reward

You can choose one regular-size drink from Tiger Sugar or one banh mi sandwich from a set list at Banh Mi Boys. There’s a limit of one reward per person across both locations.

Wealthsimple Bubble Tea & Banh Mi Giveaway (the “Promotion”)

This Promotion is sponsored by Wealthsimple Technologies Inc. (“Wealthsimple”).

The food and beverage items offered under this Promotion are prepared and served by third-party businesses that are not affiliated with Wealthsimple.

Promotion Period. From November 10, 2026 at 12:01AM ET to November 13, 2026 at 11:59PM ET (the “Promotion Period”). The Offer (as defined below) is available while supplies last and may only be redeemed in person during each Participating Location’s (as defined below) regular business hours within the Promotion Period.

Participating Locations. The Offer is only available at the following locations (each a “Participating Location”):

• Tiger Sugar, 2391 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M4P 3H1 (bubble tea); and
• Banh Mi Boys, 329 Yonge St, Toronto, ON M5B 1R7 (banh mi).

The Offer cannot be redeemed at any other location of these businesses or at any other business.

Eligibility. To be eligible for the Promotion, the person must, at the time of participation:

• not hold an existing Wealthsimple account (a “Wealthsimple Account”), and be eligible to open a Wealthsimple Kids & Teens account;
• be a legal resident of Ontario;
• be at least thirteen (13) years of age;
• have the permission of their parent or legal guardian to participate in the Promotion and to provide the information requested in the Registration Form (as defined below); and
• meet the requirements set out below.

Participants Under 13. The Promotion is not open to individuals under the age of thirteen (13). Individuals under the age of thirteen (13) may not complete the Registration Form or redeem the Offer.

Qualifying Action. To redeem the Offer, the Participant must, during the Promotion Period: (a) scan the Wealthsimple QR code displayed at a Participating Location; (b) complete and submit the online form with the information requested, which includes the Participant’s name, email address, age range and their parent or legal guardian’s name and email address (as optional) (the “Registration Form”); and (c) show the confirmation screen displayed after submitting the Registration Form (the “Confirmation”) to staff at the same Participating Location, on the Participant’s own device (together, the “Qualifying Action”). Screenshots, previously used Confirmations, or Confirmations shown on another person’s device may not be accepted. Opening a Wealthsimple Account is not required to redeem the Offer.

Reward. Each Participant who meets the eligibility requirements and completes the steps set out above will receive one (1) of the following items, at the Participant’s choice and subject to availability (the “Reward”):

• Tiger Sugar: one (1) Regular Size drink (any available on their menu); or
• Banh Mi Boys: one (1) banh mi sandwich from the following options: Grilled Pork Banh Mi, Grilled Chicken Banh Mi, Lemongrass Tofu Banh Mi, Five Spice Pork Belly, Original Banh Mi, Vietnamese Sausage Banh Mi

(collectively, the “Eligible Items”).

This Reward is non-transferrable, has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for cash or other products, and cannot be applied retroactively. The Reward remains subject to change, at Wealthsimple’s sole discretion. Only the Eligible Items listed above are available to be selected as the Reward. Upgrades, add-ons, substitutions (other than as set out above) and additional items are not included and, if requested, are at the Participant’s own expense.

Limit of one (1) Reward per person for the entire Promotion Period, across all Participating Locations (i.e., a Participant may receive either one (1) drink or one (1) banh mi sandwich, but not both), and one (1) Registration Form per person. Wealthsimple and the Participating Locations may refuse redemption where they reasonably believe a person has already redeemed the Offer or has attempted to redeem it more than once, including by submitting multiple Registration Forms or using multiple Confirmations.

Supplies Limited. The Reward is available while supplies last. A limited total quantity of approximately 500 bubble tea and 200 banh mi sandwiches is available for the entire Promotion Period across the Participating Locations. Wealthsimple does not guarantee that any quantity will be available on any given day or at any given time, and the Offer may end at any Participating Location before the end of the Promotion Period without notice. Wealthsimple may, but is not obligated to, make additional quantities available.

Allergies, Dietary Restrictions and Food Safety. All Eligible Items are prepared and served by the Participating Locations, not Wealthsimple. Wealthsimple does not prepare, handle or control the ingredients of any Eligible Item and makes no representation regarding the ingredients, allergen content or nutritional content of any Eligible Item.

Eligible Items may contain, or may have come into contact with, food allergens, including without limitation milk, eggs, soy, wheat and other sources of gluten, sesame, peanuts, tree nuts, fish, crustaceans and shellfish, mustard and sulphites. Eligible Items may be prepared in kitchens and with equipment that also handle these allergens, and the Participating Locations cannot guarantee that any Eligible Item is free of any allergen. Some drinks contain tapioca pearls, jelly, sago or popping boba, which may present a choking hazard.

Printed ingredient and allergen information for each Eligible Item will be available at each Participating Location. Participants with food allergies, sensitivities or dietary restrictions are responsible for reviewing this information, and for asking Participating Location staff any questions, before redeeming the Offer. Participants should not redeem or consume any Eligible Item if they are unsure whether it is safe for them to consume. Any changes to an Eligible Item to accommodate an allergy or dietary restriction are at the discretion of the Participating Location.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Wealthsimple is not responsible for any allergic reaction, illness, injury or other adverse effect arising from the consumption of any Eligible Item.

Collection and Use of Personal Information. By participating in this Promotion, Participants understand and agree that Wealthsimple will collect and use their personal information (including the information provided in the Registration Form) for the purpose of administering this Promotion (including verifying eligibility for, and redemption of, the Offer) and for the purpose of contacting the Participant and, optionally, the Participant’s parent or legal guardian about opening a Wealthsimple Kids & Teens Account for the Participant and in accordance with Wealthsimple’s Privacy Policy, available here. If the Participant does not open a Wealthsimple Kids & Teens Account, Wealthsimple will delete the personal information provided in the Registration Form (including the parent or legal guardian’s information, if provided) within 30 days after the end of the Promotion Period, unless Wealthsimple is required by law to keep it longer. Wealthsimple will only send commercial electronic messages to a Participant or their parent or legal guardian where it has their consent or is otherwise permitted by law to do so. Wealthsimple does not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of thirteen (13) in connection with this Promotion. If Wealthsimple becomes aware that it has collected personal information from an individual under the age of thirteen (13) through the Registration Form, it will delete that information and the individual will not be eligible for the Offer.

Release. By participating in the Promotion, the Participant assume all risk of injury, illness, disease, death, or any other damage which may arise in connection with their participation in the Promotion or receipt, or consumption or other use of an Eligible Item. Without limiting the foregoing, the Participant hereby: (a) forever releases and discharges Wealthsimple and its parent companies, subsidiaries, affiliates, related and associated entities and employees, directors, officers, suppliers, agents, sponsors and administrators of each (collectively, the “Releasees”, which, for greater certainty, excludes the Participating Locations[CL6] ), from and against any and all claims, actions, costs, liabilities, judgments, damages, obligations, losses, penalties, and expenses of any kind or nature whatsoever (including legal fees) (collectively, the “Claims”) in any way arising directly or indirectly out of any injury, loss, or damage that the Participant may suffer as a result of, or in connection with the participation in the Promotion or any promotion-related activity, including the redemption, receipt or consumption of any Eligible Item; and (b) indemnifies, defends and holds harmless the Releasees from and against any and all damages, loss and expenses, including legal fees, which may be suffered directly or indirectly by reason of the Participant’s own negligence or willful misconduct during or in connection with their participation in the Promotion or receipt or use of any Eligible Item. Any Claims (including without limitation and by way of example only, product liability claims or misleading advertising claims) related to an Eligible Item (including any Claims relating to allergens, ingredients, food preparation or food safety) should be directed to the applicable Participating Location and not Wealthsimple and without limiting the generality of the foregoing, the Participant releases the Releasees from all Claims and liabilities with respect to any and all Eligible Items.

Referral Arrangement Disclosure. During the Promotion, Participants are effectively entering into a referral arrangement with Wealthsimple, whereby Wealthsimple will provide the Participant with a Reward, redeemable in person at a Participating Location, upon completion of the Qualifying Action in accordance with these terms and conditions. The names of each party entering this arrangement are disclosed on the Registration Form at the time of the referral. We have adopted policies and procedures to assist us to identify and control any conflict of interest that we may face. If a referral is made to a registrant, all activity requiring registration resulting from the referral arrangement will be provided by that registrant.

General. Wealthsimple reserves the right to cancel, amend, withdraw or restrict the Promotion at any time without notice. Wealthsimple is the sole arbiter of these rules and any other issue arising under the Promotion. If Wealthsimple suspects fraudulent or abusive behaviour, gaming of the system, inappropriate, offensive or derogatory language or information or a violation of these terms, as determined in Wealthsimple’s sole and absolute discretion, Wealthsimple reserves the right to disqualify the Participant, refuse redemption of the Offer and take any other action it deems appropriate. This Promotion cannot be used in conjunction with any other promotional offer, unless specified herein. An invitation to participate in this Promotion does not provide assurance that you will be accepted as a customer of Wealthsimple. Completing the Registration Form does not open a Wealthsimple Account, and any application to open a Wealthsimple Account is subject to Wealthsimple’s standard account opening requirements and approval. This Promotion is only valid for individuals in the location cited above that otherwise meet our eligibility requirements. The standard terms (https://www.wealthsimple.com/en-ca/legal/terms) relating to the use of Wealthsimple and any agreements that apply to the Wealthsimple account(s) each apply and are not affected in any way by this Promotion.

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Promotion and disclosures or other statements contained in any related materials, including but not limited to the point of sale, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Promotion shall prevail, govern and control.
