Overview
Milestone rewards are exclusive benefits offered to Wealthsimple clients with over $200,000 in assets or net deposits. Milestone rewards are designed to celebrate significant financial achievements. As you reach key milestones in your financial journey, you can unlock a variety of rewards. These range from complimentary memberships to exclusive benefits, like airport lounge passes and free international travel data.
Rewards reset annually, giving you the option to renew or select a different reward after one year.
Eligibility
We determine your eligibility for milestone rewards by the higher of your net deposits or your total assets. You earn your first milestone reward at $200,000, with additional rewards unlocked at every $100,000 increment up to $400,000.

Milestone reward options
We offer a variety of travel, wellness, and culture rewards you can claim when you reach financial milestones.
You can browse rewards in the Wealthsimple mobile app when you tap your Profile, then tap Claim on your available reward slot. You can also check out our milestone reward provider articles to browse available rewards.
How to claim a reward
You must use the Wealthsimple app to claim your milestone reward(s).
We lock in your reward for one year after you claim it. After a year you can choose to renew it, or you can let it expire and select a different reward.
To claim your reward(s):
- Log in to your Wealthsimple mobile app
- Tap the Profile icon in the top right corner
- Navigate to Your milestone rewards
- Tap Claim to view reward options
- Select a reward to learn more about it
- Tap Activate and follow the prompts to activate your reward
If you’re eligible to claim more rewards, repeat the steps above. Please keep in mind that you can’t select the same reward in more than one reward slot. For example, if you have two reward slots and you claimed Uber One for one of them, you can’t claim it again as your second reward.
Activate your reward
You have one year to use your activation code before your reward selection resets. After a year, you can select the same reward and get a new activation code, or select a different reward.

I’ve claimed my reward, but it doesn’t reflect in my account. What should I do?
After claiming your reward, follow these steps to activate your reward with the partner:
- Tap your Profile icon in the top right corner
- Select the reward
- Tap See how to activate for details

What if I already have an active subscription with a reward provider?
This varies by reward. Please refer to partner-specific instructions to maximize your benefit.
What happens if I no longer meet the requirements to be eligible for my reward(s)?
Milestone rewards are treated the same as the other benefits you receive as a Premium client. If you downgrade from Premium client status, you will be provided a grace period to redeposit the necessary funds before your status is revoked. Once your status is revoked we reserve the right to clawback the value of the unused months of your selected reward(s).
You need to maintain Premium status at the minimum throughout the 12-month period the reward is active. This means you can go from Generation to Premium status while the reward is active, but you’re subject to our clawback policy if you downgrade from Premium status.
Can I give my milestone reward to someone else?
Yes, you can give your unique activation code to someone else, but the code can only be activated once. In other words, once you gave the code to someone else to activate, you won’t be able to activate the reward yourself.
Are you planning to change the reward options?
Yes, we continually refresh our reward partners.
Can I buy extras on my subscription (e.g. additional lounge passes on DragonPass, additional physician visits on Maple)?
Some partners may allow you to make additional purchases on their sites to complement your reward. Any additional purchases are not included in your reward.

Who will I be able to combine assets with?
You'll soon be able to combine your assets with one other person who shares the same address as you and has a Wealthsimple account. That should be a partner you trust and want to manage your finances with. Stay tuned for the launch.
What is the difference between Premium status and the milestone rewards?

Features of the rewards programs may vary and will depend on the partner providing the reward. Account activation with the applicable rewards partner is required and your use of these services is subject to each provider's applicable terms and conditions and privacy policy. Please ensure that you read and understand these agreements before you subscribe. Eligibility may vary for customers in certain regions.
