Maple is a Canadian virtual care platform. When you claim Maple as your reward, you’ll get:
- personal health check-ins,
- special pricing on specialists, and
- one virtual visit with a primary care provider or paediatric nurse practitioner.
Note: You can redeem this visit within 12 months of activation.
Activate your visit
Here’s how to activate your Maple virtual visit:
- Sign in to the Wealthsimple mobile app
- Tap your Profile icon in the top right corner
- Tap your Maple reward
- Copy your unique activation code
- Tap Activate on Maple and enter your activation code
- Request medical care within the Maple app when you need it

Why was my consultation request declined?
Healthcare providers carefully review each consultation request to determine if they can safely and effectively address the concern through virtual care. In some cases, a provider may determine that an in-person assessment is necessary for proper diagnosis and treatment. When a consultation is declined, it's typically for one of the following reasons:
- The provider believes in-person care is required for your specific concern.
- The issue may be too complex or sensitive to address virtually.
- There may be a need for physical examination or tests that cannot be conducted online.
